Best Friends Forever

          It would be difficult to find 2 better friends than this charming calico cat and his bird buddy wood sculpture. It is summer and the bird is busy hatching its egg while his best friend forever calico cat is more than happy to provide the shelter and protection necessary to help his feathered friend. The top of this sculpture opens to reveal that this calico cat consumes fish so there is no reason for his bird buddy to be concerned.

            You can feel it in the air. Just like a cool breeze, you can feel the impending Presidential Campaign of Hillary Clinton slowly beginning to encompass our country. You do not need a Farmers’ Almanac to spot the obvious clues of her Presidential Campaign. In 2013 her Super Pac “Ready For Hillary” was formed to raise money for her “nonexistent” campaign and in 2014 we have our hero out on the road promoting her latest book “Hard Choices”. Is it a coincidence that her book tour took her through many key primary states?   Yeah, right!   Face it folks, Hillary is coming!

Hillary is on her way to writing Presidential Her-story! That’s right, you heard me, Her-story!

          Introducing another underwater citizen of my summertime mythology, my Mermaid wood sculpture. Often thought of as the Merman’s “better half”, my Mermaid friend can often be found searching for Tom Hanks and John Candy. Ancient rumors speculate that the Mermaid’s name is “Madison”.

Merman

          Introducing the merman, a wood sculpture citizen of my summertime mythology. He is shown on the sea floor in his underwater environment. In Greek lore, the merman is considered a powerful figure but in my experience he often gets lost underwater and refuses to ask for directions.
